The
CYCOGS robotics
projects are under development.
We estimate the first production prototype
will be in testing by 3rd Q2010,
with a pre-production model by late 2010.
 
The mobile robot base (platform), comprised of three
WAM™
units.
 
The intelligent
Wheel Assembly Module ( WAM™)
4-DOF, 5 motors, heavy loads.
  
This medium size round robot chassis uses three
WAM's, and two position able sensor rings (Sring™) and two hybrid snake arms
(Snarm™).
The two Srings are in red, and can selectively position, rotate,
track and scan.
The image on the left shows the two Snarms extended in an over and under
configuration.
The image on the right shows the two Snarms retracted inside the
robot's body.
Please note that the modular Sring and Snarm systems are capable of
continuous direction independent rotations.
  
CYCOGS is pleased to announce that
our modular
wheel drive is now available.
This consists of one motor, wheel, and
mounting flange as pictured above.
CYCOGS is also developing a small
robot! This small robot is also under R&D and we will announce
details when it is ready for evaluation.
We are planning on offering complete robots, robot bases as well as
the WAM™, Sring™
and Snarm™
systems for purchase.
As the development effort continues, no other data is available or
suitable for public dissemination. Pre-production information is not
available at this time. |
